Feel balanced and grounded in this time of transition, and make space for you again

Attachment-based therapy for women navigating pregnancy, postpartum, and the early seasons of parenthood.

The day-to-day of motherhood can be both meaningful and messy. We’ll help you feel more grounded, trust your inner voice, and move toward the life you envisioned.

When Motherhood Feels Heavier Than You Hoped

You knew that becoming a mother would change everything, but not that it’d feel so complex. Maybe pregnancy has awakened old worries, birth didn’t go as you planned, or postpartum is lonelier than anyone mentioned. You dreamed of this, and yet the day-to-day reality can feel overwhelming. You’re ready for attuned support—clear guidance, practical tools, and a place to come back to yourself.

At Mother Nurture Therapy Group, we know how layered this season can be. We make room for the whole experience—the love and the fear, the wonder and the weariness. Therapy here offers a gentle place to land. It’s not about pretending you’re fine or pushing past what hurts. It’s about slowing down, letting your body and mind exhale, and finding a steadier way forward.

We offer compassionate, nonjudgmental support for the tender early stages of motherhood.

Together, we’ll ease what feels hard while addressing the roots underneath, bringing relief today and lasting change over time.

Drawing from attachment and psychodynamic perspectives, we’ll explore how your history and identities show up in this chapter, so you can make sense of your reactions and grow compassion for the parts of you that feel overwhelmed. With CBT-informed strategies and mindful, body-based practices, we’ll calm anxious spirals, soften perfectionism, and create simple rhythms that make daily life feel more manageable.

how we can help

We’ll also take a conscious, compassionate look at generational patterns, to keep what’s loving and gently reshaping what isn’t, so the connection you’re building feels aligned and sustainable.

Together, we’ll name the familial, societal, and cultural messages about what a mother “should” be, and make space for the mother you truly want to be. When helpful, we can include couples sessions to support creating a secure base your family can grow from.

FAQs

Is therapy only for when something is wrong?

No. We also do preventive, attachment-focused care to help you practice co-regulation, bonding rituals, and reflective parenting early on. Think of it as creating secure roots now, so you and your baby have more ease later.

Do I need a diagnosis to begin?

No, if this season feels heavier than you imagined, that’s reason enough to get support.

Is this for individuals or couples?

Either or both. Many clients start individually and invite a partner in later; others begin as a couple.

Will you collaborate with my OB-GYN, midwife, doula, or pediatrician?

With your written consent, we’re happy to collaborate with your team to support your care.

Do you take insurance?

We’re an out-of-network practice and can provide superbills for potential reimbursement.

WHAT ARE YOUR FEES?

Our private-pay rates reflect clinician training and expertise, and the time we invest in your care. You’ll receive your therapist’s exact fee before scheduling. Current ranges:

  • Individual therapy (50 min): $180–$250

  • Couples therapy (50 min): $200–$300
