Does Therapy Actually Help After a Miscarriage? Reddit Asks, We Answer
It's one of the most common questions people post online after a loss, usually late at night: "Is therapy worth it after a miscarriage, or should I just wait it out?"
Here's our honest answer. Grief after miscarriage often softens with time, but not always on its own. Therapy helps most when the loss keeps you stuck. Images from that day replay at night. You avoid appointments or pregnant friends. You and your partner can't talk about it without fighting or going silent. Or trying again feels terrifying.
A good therapist won't rush you to "move on." They'll give the loss room, help your body stop bracing, and, if trauma is part of it, may use approaches like EMDR.
You don't need to be falling apart to deserve support.
