who you’ll see here
Yael Sherne, LMFT
founder & clinical director
Yael founded Mother Nurture to support women and couples through every stage of becoming and being a family. She works with individuals and couples navigating infertility and pregnancy loss, pregnancy and postpartum, early parenthood, and the relationship shifts that come with each. Her approach is attachment-based and psychodynamic, and she uses EMDR for trauma healing and the Gottman Method for couples work. Yael is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist in California and supervises our associate therapists.
accepting new clientsBrooke Friedberg, AMFT, APCC
Brooke works with adults and couples navigating pregnancy, postpartum, loss, parenting, and other major life transitions. Before becoming a therapist, she spent more than 15 years as an elementary school teacher, and her own path to parenthood shapes the warmth and steadiness she brings to this work. Her approach is attachment-focused, trauma-informed, and narrative, paired with practical tools you can use right away. Brooke is supervised by Yael Sherne, LMFT.
