Who I help:

I work with adults and couples moving through a season of change. That might look like a life transition, a relationship under strain, a difficult pregnancy or loss, or the shift into parenthood. It might also be a stretch of anxiety, depression, or trauma that's made everyday life harder to carry. My clients are often people who function well on the outside but sense that something underneath needs attention. Therapy is a place to slow that down, understand it, and start showing up differently.

how i help:

My approach is humanistic, trauma-informed, and attachment-focused, and I draw on Narrative Therapy, CBT, and solution-focused tools depending on what's most useful for you. In practice, that means we'll look at the emotions and patterns underneath what's going on, not just the surface problem, while also working toward concrete, practical shifts you can feel in your daily life. I see the story you tell about yourself and your relationships as something we can actively reshape together, not as something fixed.

What my clients say about working with me:

Clients tell me they feel comfortable opening up about things they've never said out loud before, without needing to explain or justify themselves first. Our work together helps them see old patterns in themselves and their relationships in a new light. My hope is that every session leaves you feeling more grounded, more understood, and a little less alone in what you're carrying.

My background:

Before training as a therapist, I spent over 15 years as an elementary school teacher, working closely with children and families. My career shift was prompted by my own experience in therapy. My path to parenthood wasn't straightforward, and it taught me firsthand how much growth depends on receiving the right support at the right moment, not just insight on its own. That experience, combined with my years in education, led me to pursue a career in Marriage and Family Therapy. I went on to earn my master's degree, and today I work with individuals and couples navigating perinatal mental health, parenting, and other major life transitions.
